OVERVIEW

This Live Online Extended is a very fast way to prepare for the PMP® exam. You will receive proof of the full 36 project management contact hours required to take the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification exam of the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. The eight sessions include intensive preparation for the PMP® exam. We provide tips and strategies, and practical experience with the tools and techniques that are essential for the exam. Discussions of the extensive material, which covers all concepts and best practices of project management, are enriched by individual work, group exercises, and practice tests.

LIVE ONLINE EXTENDED

This Live Online Extended consists of 8 modules of 4.5 hours each. The courses usually take place on consecutive days or alternatively stretched over several weeks, e.g. always Friday, depending on agreement.

We conduct our online crash courses as web conferences with a visible live trainer. To participate you need a Windows PC, a Mac, an iPad or an Android tablet. Audio transmission can be via IP or telephone (via national landline numbers in many countries). You may use your webcam if you want, too.

After registration you will receive your individual access data and two reminders shortly before the course sessions. Video recordings of the sessions will be available shortly after the event.

ATTENDEES

This course is designed for project professionals who are qualified to sit for the PMP® certification exam.

Prerequisites

Before taking this course, students should meet the requirements for admission to the PMP® exam: 35 hours of project management education obtained through this course and 36 calendar months of project management experience if they have at least a bachelor’s degree or 60 calendar months without an academic degree. For maximum benefit from the preparation, you should be prepared to sit for the exam within 2 months of the course. Review of recommended literature (not part of the course)

The PMP® exam is based on PMI’s Examination Content Outline. PMI explicitly points out that the exam is not based on a specific book by PMI or other authors. Nevertheless, it is recommended to study PMI standards and practice guides in addition to the course material. These include, for example

FORMAT
